IN A FEW STEPS TO YOUR NEUVERMOEBELT DESIGN

HOW IT WORKS

Kitchens:

Think about the shape of your kitchen, which elements you need and how best to arrange them.

You can use the IKEA Kitchen Planner to design your ideal kitchen.

We recommend that you hire a professional to take measurements before you order. You can easily arrange this at Ikea.

We cannot guarantee the exact fit of the kitchen. This should be done by a local carpenter, because only a local carpenter can tell if your walls are at an angle.

The same goes for worktops. A special measurement of the worktop should be taken before the final worktop is ordered, otherwise the worktop may not fit exactly. This is especially true for stainless steel, steel and Fenix compact worktops, which cannot be adjusted by a carpenter on site.

Also, we cannot guarantee the size of the worktops we calculate based on your plans, as there are always tolerances in cabinets that we cannot predict in advance.

You can find more helpful information in the Kitchen Planning and Installation Guide.

If you would like to have your kitchen installed by an external installation team, let us know and we will recommend an installation team for you.

Do you already have an IKEA kitchen? Then all you have to do is remove the old doors, measure them and replace them with your new Neuvermoebelt® doors!

We recommend that you send us a drawing with the fronts so that we can see which front combinations you have chosen for your cabinets. For a correct processing of your request we need all views, a top view=floor plan, the shopping list and the worktop drawing for the first calculation.

You can easily select and order fronts, worktops, tops and plinths in our online shop. At the same time, you have 4 ordering options, which are described in the following chapters.

We recommend that you use Ikea's measurement service, which will give you a digital plan accurate to the millimetre that you can import into Ikeaplaner.

If you don't want to use this service, you should still make sure that your measurements are correct, as they form the basis of the entire kitchen design. We recommend that you have the measurements confirmed by your installer or another professional so that you can be sure that everything is correct.

  • Please note that Neuvermoebelt® is not responsible for the accuracy of your measurements.

  • You should also make sure that your order is correct.

  • Please double check all items and measurements to be sure.

  • We usually try to double check your orders, but mistakes can happen from time to time.

  • As this is your own kitchen, you are the best person to check.

  • Once you have accepted the quote, the items on the order list will apply.

We process all orders by email and communicate with you either online or by telephone.

You will receive a preliminary quotation from us within 2-7 working days of your enquiry, which will then be reviewed and adjusted until everything is just right.

We will of course help you with this design decision stage.

Changes should always be confirmed in writing so that the entire design process can be documented and remains transparent and understandable to both parties. We will also email you our final quote and ask you to confirm.

Once you have confirmed your order, it cannot be changed (see next article). We will then send you an order confirmation and an invoice for 50% of the total amount (including delivery costs and VAT).

Once the invoice has been paid and credited to our account, production of the items ordered will commence.

All our products are made to order. Therefore, no changes can be made once production has started.

If you want to change your order, this will affect the price and possibly the delivery time. For bespoke items, you will need to check the sizing yourself.

We guarantee that the items will meet your specifications, but not that they will be suitable for the intended use.

When your design is ready, order your furniture from IKEA or the IKEA online store. Remember to buy hinges and drawers, as IKEA only sells fronts, worktops, tops and skirting boards.

All electrical appliances from other manufacturers are compatible with IKEA (except for hobs with integrated extractor hoods and dishwashers). Dishwashers must have certain characteristics. Here is an overview.

Delivered within 6-8 weeks of your order. All fronts are ready for assembly. All you need to do is fit the hinges before simply clicking the fronts into place.

The worktops or tops are cut to your specifications, so all you need to do is attach them to the cabinets and fix them to the wall/floor.

Your order is delivered to your door.

If your order includes drawers and real wood carcasses, these will be delivered on separate pallets.

The drawers are pre-assembled, but the solid wood carcasses are not.

Unfortunately, the carrier does not offer a return or recycling service for the packaging material.

If your worktop is longer than 200 cm, you will need helpers to carry it to the delivery address. For stainless steel or terrazzo countertops, please contact us again before delivery so that we can advise you of the weight of your countertop and plan the delivery accordingly.

If you know at the time of ordering that you will not be able to accept your delivery within the specified delivery time, please let us know in good time. This will allow us to plan production accordingly. Otherwise there is a risk of improper storage, which can lead to warping of the real wood panels.

The same applies to improper storage at home. The boards must be stored horizontally, without gaps between them, to avoid warping. It needs a moderate climate, without humidity or excessive dryness.

If your order has already been produced but you are unable to collect it, you can have your order stored by our shipping company for a fee.

Our kitchen fronts and worktops are made especially for you. As they are unique, there is no right of return. If you or the IKEA designer have made a mistake with your order, we do not take back any products. So please check our quote or order very carefully.

YOUR KITCHEN MADE BY NEUVERMOEBELT

THERE ARE 4 WAYS TO ORDER A NEUVERMOEBELT KITCHEN

You design your new kitchen with IKEA, order it and we deliver the fronts and worktops to match the units. Our fronts are 100% compatible with the IKEA METHOD or FAKTUM SYSTEM. You install the fronts in exactly the same way as the IKEA fronts.

We recommend that you visit your local IKEA store to see the different cabinet and equipment options and to have your kitchen planned and drawn.

The best way to do this is to make an appointment with IKEA. Alternatively, you can create a plan from home using the IKEA KITCHEN PLANNER.

Send us your IKEA planning documents in PDF format. Please make sure that your kitchen plan includes IKEA fronts so that we can see which front combinations you need for your units.

We will then send you a quotation based on your desired design. This is free of charge.

If you want to save time or effort when planning your kitchen with Ikea, we can do the Ikea planning for you. This is the 'kitchen planning light' that we do with the help of the Ikea kitchen planner. This will give you the plans and order list for your Ikea purchase, as well as a quote for the Neuvermoebelt® fronts.

We also offer bespoke solutions for your kitchen. If you need more planning or bespoke solutions, such as a special cupboard for a particular oven, a particular corner, bespoke oven or sink cut-outs or specifications for electricians and plumbers, you can also book our 'Kitchen Planning Master' service.

  • The fronts are 18-20 mm thick.

  • There is no problem with a dishwasher front that is made up of two parts so that it fits better with your drawer fronts. You need to buy one of the connecting rails from IKEA. However, these rails only fit IKEA dishwashers. For all other appliances, check with the manufacturer.

  • Worktops for wall units and tall units are usually planned in 12-20 mm thickness according to your wishes. The material is the same as the front surface and edge of the fronts. For example, if you have a linoleum front on multiplex, the side panel will also have a linoleum surface and a multiplex edge.

  • The tops for base units can be ordered in 80 or 88 cm height_ up to the floor or only up to the bottom edge of the unit.

  • The tops are 12 to 22 mm thick. You should take this into account when choosing the length of your worktop so that it is flush with the tops.

  • Deck sides are normally 62cm deep. METOD cabinets are 59cm deep with the mounting rail at 60cm. With the fronts you have a total depth of 61.8-62cm. You should take this into account when planning the depth of your worktop so that it is flush with the fronts.

  • Please note that the material thickness of the IKEA side panels is different from our thicknesses. This is especially important when sizing your worktop and when planning a kitchen that is wall to wall.

  • Our standard panel thickness between the wall and the cabinet is 15 cm. This gives you the choice of either cutting them to size on site or turning them over and using them as a shortened side panel with the multiplex edge to finish off the wall. They are also available in heights of 80 and 88 cm, i.e. to the bottom of the cabinet or to the floor.

  • Skirting boards are available in standard sizes. They have to be cut to size on site and are usually extended. However, we can make them to any size on request.

  • We can produce back panels in wood materials up to 2.4m. Larger back panels need to be cut into pieces, this should be done at the height of a cabinet partition and fixed to the wall with mounting glue. Fenix and Corian have a maximum length of 304cm. Steel of 298cm, Oak panels of 3.6m.

  • Bora Pure recirculating air will fit into an 80cm wide Ikea cupboard. You need a minimum distance of 2cm to the back wall with recirculation. The depth of the worktop would be at least 64 cm.

  • Bora Basic air recirculation fits in an 80 cm wide Ikea cabinet. You need a minimum distance of 2 cm to the back wall with recirculation. The depth of the worktop would be at least 64cm.

  • Bora X Pure requires a special 90cm wide cabinet. You need a distance to the back wall with air circulation of at least 2cm, so the worktop depth would be at least 64cm.

WHAT WE OFFER IN ADDITION TO KITCHENS

  • We make doors for Pax and Platsa wardrobes.

To increase stability, our fronts have one more hinge hole than Ikea offers. This extra hole is located about 20 cm above the centre at a height where you can still fit drawers in the lower half of the wardrobe.

We recommend that you do not mount wardrobes on the wall without feet, as they become very heavy and there is a risk that they will come loose from the wall anchors.

    Option 1:

The doors cover the skirting board and stop 2cm above the floor, if there is a carpet check if this is enough. If not, we will make the required dimension.

    Option 2:

The doors are the same size as the IKEA doors and have a skirting board at the front.

You have to adjust them to the unevenness of the floor on site, so they are a little higher than necessary.

You can also order side panels that go all the way to the floor.

Tip On doors are only possible on 50cm wide units, unless you create a shelf at handle height where you can fit the 2 Tip On fittings.

You can also order top units for the Pax system.

You can also order wardrobes with real wood carcasses in multiplex.

You must configure the Pax wardrobe including doors in the Pax planner to ensure that there is enough space for the hinges.

These dimensions are stored in the Pax Planner and are generated automatically. If a drawer cannot be fitted in the Pax Planner, it cannot be fitted in the original.

The same applies to the Platsa system, for which we only produce doors, not drawer fronts.

  • In our shop you can also find sideboards built from Metod kitchen units.

  • This results in the following module sizes.

  • 40/60/80cm width.

  • 40/60/80cm high

  • in 40 or 60cm depth.

  • There are 2 versions.

  • You can configure your own sideboards in our online kitchen shop. You can choose from all the designs, colours and materials that we offer for the kitchens.

  • You can also buy from our ready-made configuration, which we call the Smart Collection.

  • You can also let us configure a sideboard for you.

  • This is also possible with wooden or metal drawers, inserts and real wood carcasses.

  • In our shop you will also find bathroom vanities with the Godmorgon range.

  • We also offer collections of beautiful worktop sinks and tops in Corian®.

If you are not a fan of Ikea kitchens, you can order a complete and customised real wood kitchen from us. We will deliver everything except the electrical appliances.

Just send us the measurements of your kitchen and all the information we need. On this basis, we can create either a "Kitchen Design Light" or, depending on your needs, a "Kitchen Design Master".

The first meeting to discuss your wishes and requirements can be held in the showroom, via ZoomMeeting or by email. We will then draw up a kitchen plan for you.

This applies to all options:

When we have discussed all the details and our offer is suitable for you, you will receive your order confirmation and invoice.

Once payment has been received, your order will go into production and will be ready for despatch after a production time of 4-6 weeks (depending on the design). Delivery time is approximately 2-3 working days.

Our kitchen fronts and worktops are made especially for you. As they are unique, there is no right of return. If you or the IKEA designer have made a mistake with your order, we do not take back any products. So please check our offer or order very carefully.

We offer Linoleum, Corian®, Fenix® and real wood tops in thicknesses of 20-40mm. We also offer stainless steel tops in thicknesses of 4mm-6mm, as well as concrete and terrazzo tops in thicknesses of 4cm, stone tops and re-stone.

MATERIALS AND COLOURS

Our fronts are made from birch plywood or black MDF. All substrates are sourced from FSC and PEFC certified suppliers.

Multiplex panels

Multiplex panels are veneered plywood panels consisting of at least 5 layers of veneer of equal thickness, mostly beech or birch, sometimes also spruce or maple. The advantage is that they are very rigid and stable.

As standard, we only offer multiplex fronts up to a height of 80cm, which is sufficient in most cases. All larger sizes have a multiplex frame on MDF.

Black MDF

Alternatively, you can have your kitchen fronts made on black MDF_then you will have a black oiled edge instead of the multiplex edge.

MDF with oak edge

It is also possible to order a front with an oak edge_for this we produce the fronts on MDF with a real wood edge in oak. This option is not available in the online shop_it can only be ordered by post.

Furniture Linoleum

Furniture linoleum can be used to create high quality surfaces that are hygienic, antistatic and durable. As a natural surface material, it contributes to a healthier indoor environment.

Made from renewable raw materials such as linseed oil, resins, wood and limestone flour, and coloured with harmless pigments, it is a particularly beautiful, high quality and ecological alternative to conventional kitchen materials.

In addition to its warm colours, linoleum has a distinctive feel.

Wood veneers

Ecology and healthy living are important to us. That is why we source our real wood veneers exclusively from sustainable, certified forestry. We use European veneers. The surface is finished by hand at the end of the production process with an organic oil.

We offer birch, oak, fir, ash, walnut and smoked oak.

Fenix

The unique properties of FENIX have won us over. Fenix has a surface with nanotechnology that protects against fingerprints and allows light scratches to be easily repaired with a damp cloth and iron. The material is extremely matt and fantastically soft to the touch.

HPL/Laminate

HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate, which is a laminate pressed under high pressure.
To make HPL, several layers of paper are soaked in melamine resin. When the resin hardens, it forms a thermoset plastic. This means that the material will not deform and can withstand temperatures of up to 180°C.

During production, a decorative paper and a transparent overlay are placed over the core paper layer. These two overlay layers make up the final surface of the HPL panel and allow a wide range of patterns and colours to be produced. In addition to plain HPL panels, patterned panels are also possible.

Copper and brass

Brass and copper have always been at home in kitchens. These precious metals, with their sometimes matt, sometimes mirror-like shine and warm colours, provide a wonderful contrast to linoleum, wood or fenestration. These metals are untreated and ready for a beautiful patina.

We offer linoleum, Corian, Fenix® and real wood tops in thicknesses of 20-40mm. We also offer stainless steel tops in thicknesses of 4mm-6mm, as well as concrete and terrazzo tops in thicknesses of 4cm, stone tops and re-stone.

Our colour palettes have been carefully selected so that they are easy to combine. Even if you want to combine wood veneers, Fenix, metal or linoleum in your design.

You can order samples of each design_or order colour swatches of Fenix, Linoleum, Laminate or our wood species.

For a better overview of our colours and designs, we recommend you view our catalogue.
