INSTALLATION OPTIONS

In this classic installation variant, the sink is recessed from above into a previously sawn recess in the countertop.

Sinks in the Slimtop design are installed like conventional built-in sinks. The flat edge profile means that there is only a very slight difference in level between the worktop and the sink.

The flush design is particularly easy to clean because there is no edge. For this purpose, a recess corresponding exactly to the edge profile must be milled into the countertop. After installation, the sink completely covers the milled-out area. The sink is thus recessed flush into the countertop without any difference in level.

Undermount sinks are particularly suitable for countertops made of granite, stone or other solid materials, as they allow you to design continuous surfaces without visual interruption. The sink is mounted to the countertop from below. This results in a high-quality seamless look and is also particularly easy to clean.

ACCESSORIES

With a push-button drain you can let the water out without having to reach into the water. The push-button in stainless steel look works purely mechanically and is maintenance-free: By pressing the push-button lightly, the Bowden cable simply pushes the drain valve back and forth. Similar to the mechanism of a ballpoint pen, the drain is open when the button is flush with the sink - when the push-button is up, it is closed.

Eine sehr komfortable und häufig verwendete Ventilvariante. Der Wasserablauf oder das Anstauen des Wassers im Becken wird über eine Ablaufbedienung (Zugknopf) gesteuert. Die Hände bleiben somit immer Trocken.

The water drainage is controlled directly via the strainer plug. To dam up the water, the strainer insert is manually pressed into the valve. To drain the water, the strainer plug is pulled out manually.

The integral drain is part of the pool and fits seamlessly into the pool floor. Without joints, dirt and bacteria cannot find a foothold. Your sink is easy to clean.

The integral drain is hidden under the absolutely flat drain cover - seamlessly integrated into the basin, it ensures easy cleaning.

MATERIALS

Sinks made of quartz composite are very much in vogue. The colourful sinks with their unique surface are gradually replacing "classic" sinks made of stainless steel and ceramic. Those who have never heard of quartz composite may be familiar with the terms silgranite, granite sinks or CRISTADUR®.

Quartz composite is a mixture of natural, mineral components made of stone and acrylic. In this context, the term granite sinks is often used because two-thirds granite is often used in combination with one-third acrylic. In addition, each brand/manufacturer uses its own name for its type of quartz composite. They are called Silgranit, CRISTADUR®, Fragranit, etc.

SCHOCK – CRISTALITE® AND CRISTADUR®

CHOCK is a German company that has been in business since 1979 and specialises in the production of kitchen sinks and fittings. The German manufacturer, which is considered the inventor of quartz composite, produces very special sinks in a wide variety of shapes and colours and could be described as the colourful dog of the industry. With CRISTALITE® and CRISTADUR®, SCHOCK offers its customers two different compositions with different properties.

FRANKE – FRAGRANIT

Franke is a Swiss manufacturer of kitchen sinks. A Franke kitchen sink is characterised by high quality and modern, linear design. Franke kitchen sinks are classically made of stainless steel and ceramic as well as modern quartz composite. At Franke, this material is called Fragranit and consists of 80% quartz sand and 20% hard acrylic resin. Fragranit sinks from Franke are available in various, mainly muted colours such as blue, grey, sand, beige and brown. More about Franke sinks made of Fragranit:

WONDERFULLY DURABLE

It's no coincidence that 70 % of all sinks worldwide are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel looks good in almost every kitchen. It is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean thanks to its absolutely non-porous surface and extremely hygienic. Stainless steel forms a passive protective layer with oxygen that continuously renews itself. It withstands extreme temperatures and is rust-free.

ELASTIC AND INSENSITIVE TO TEMPERATURE

Stainless steel is heat-resistant and shock-resistant to temperature changes. Its elasticity also reduces the incidence of porcelain and glass breakage.

SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Franke stainless steel is made from 70 % recycled material and is 100 % recyclable. Only the best is good enough for your sink. That's why Franke buys the highest quality stainless steel worldwide.
