FENIX® LAMINAT WORKTOPS

Fenix worktops offer several advantages that make them an attractive option for the kitchen. Here are some of the advantages of Fenix worktops:

  • Excellent durability: Fenix worktops are extremely durable and resistant to scratches, wear and heat. The material is hard and resilient, which means it can withstand daily kitchen wear and tear and retain its beauty and functionality over time.

  • Anti-fingerprint properties: Fenix worktops have a special coating that repels fingerprints and dirt. This keeps the worktops clean for longer and requires less cleaning.

  • Low light reflection: The matt surface of Fenix worktops reduces light reflection and minimises visible fingerprints and scratches. This gives the worktops an elegant and modern appearance.

  • Excellent hygiene: Fenix is a closed material that has very low water absorption. This minimises the growth of bacteria and mould, making Fenix worktops hygienic and easy to clean.

  • Repairability: Small scratches or superficial damage can be repaired with the help of heat and a special repair kit. This makes it possible to repair the worktop if necessary and restore its original appearance.

  • Colour choice and design variety: Fenix worktops are available in a wide range of colours and textures. From neutral tones to bold colours, Fenix offers a wide range of design options to complement different kitchen styles and aesthetics.

  • Easy maintenance: Fenix worktops require no special care or treatment. They can be easily cleaned with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Stains caused by normal kitchen activities are usually easily removed.

It is important to note that Fenix worktops can be slightly more expensive compared to some other materials such as natural stone. The exact pricing may vary depending on the design.

MANUFACTURING

The Fenix® surface is laminated onto a multiplex/plywood board or MDF board with oak or smoked oak edge. The thickness of the worktop can be chosen from 20-30mm.

The edges of the Fenix worktops consist of the typical Ildefonso edge of the multiplex board or solid natural or smoked oak edge as glue-in. All edges are treated with a natural oil and have a radius of 1.0mm.

Good to know

The faint reflection of the material creates a pleasant and harmonious visual image in your kitchen. Thanks to its high-tech manufacturing process, the material has a very soft feel, which makes the worktop particularly attractive. In addition, the nanotechnology embedded in the material enables the thermal correction of micro-scratches, so that the worktop remains flawless.

Care and maintenance

And the new material is also very durable, resistant and easy to clean. It can be cleaned with common household cleaners and also stands up well to acids. The surface can be cleaned with a microfibre cloth soaked in warm water or a wall eraser. Practically all household cleaners can be used on the surface of the worktop.
